The Company assigns a random ID comprised of a string of characters (“Unique ID”) to each browser a user uses when providing its services. The Company collects browsing history and attributes of the user of the website that is using the services of the Company (collectively, “Visitor’s Data”. Unique ID and Visitor’s Data are collectively refered as “Visitor’s Information”.), including the following:
1.URLs of websites the user visited, referrers (search keywords), IP addresses, date and time of access, which help the Company accumulate the user’s data and analyze the user’s behavior.
2.Information about user agent of the browser, which is used to recognize the browser the user uses.
The data above can distinguish the user from other users when combined with each other, but Unique ID is randomly assigned to each browser, meaning that it is never combined with data which can identify an individual.
The information collected by the Company is used for the following purposes.
1.Market analysis and marketing
2.Inferring attribute information such as gender, interests and preferences
3.Provision to third parties (as electronic data)
4.Supervision of unauthorized actions
By activating the opt-out, the status of your Visitor’s Data will be changed so that is not able to be used in the service of the Company, and then advertisement and data analysis based on your Visitor’s Data will be stopped.
